Sellen Raises $133,000 for United Way of King County

From November 11-22, 177 Sellen employees rallied together behind United Way’s mission to build a stronger community. Over a two-week period, employees gathered at jobsites and offices to learn more about the essential work United Way is doing in our community, helping out both individuals and organizations that need our financial assistance the most.

All totaled, we raised $133,869 which the United Way will primarily funnel into three focus areas: helping students graduate, breaking the cycle of poverty and ending homelessness. It costs approximately $2,500 to train four educators through the ParentChild+ Program, and our contributions covered the costs of 215 educators! This will provide families with pre-kindergarten education access that otherwise wouldn’t have the resources to do so.
