Sellen Raises Over $189,000 for United Way of King County

From November 5-16, 216 Sellen employees rallied together behind United Way’s mission to build a stronger community. Over a two-week period, employees gathered at jobsites and offices to learn more about the essential work United Way is doing in our community, helping out both individuals and organizations that need our financial assistance the most.

All totaled, we raised $189,914 which the United Way will primarily funnel into three focus areas: helping students graduate, breaking the cycle of poverty and ending homelessness. We know it costs approximately $1,000 to move someone off of the streets into stable housing. Our campaign helped move 189 people into homes.
